Bumpdate: 21 Weeks

I was 21 weeks on Tuesday and am still feeling great!

We are having so much fun chatting with Dax about his new baby brother! He wants to go through all the family members and tell us if they're a boy or girl. Nana and Daddy have been girls a few times now! He is a budding conversationalist with lots of baby/belly questions or comments -especially since his new baby cousin Fletcher arrived on Saturday. He's going to be the best big brother!

Bumpdate: 20 Weeks

We're there! We've made it halfway! It's been a tough couple of weeks. Dax had his first round of pink eye plus a double ear infection. Then we've all 3 been fighting colds. Josh was the last to get hit, and he's now trying to get well as finals start! I skipped taking my 19 week picture -I just wasn't anything to look at last week! Lol.

Bumpdate: 18 Weeks

I was 18 weeks on the 7th. It's hard to believe we're almost halfway there! Happy, healthy and constantly chasing a sweet toddler.

Baby #2 Gender Reveal

This has been such an exciting couple of days! On Friday, Josh and I went to our ultrasound to check on Baby #2 and see that he/she was healthy and growing strong. We were pleased to finally get a glimpse of our next little munchkin.

We have a healthy growing baby with a head as big as brother's! If ultrasounds were only in color and we could find out if this baby has red hair! It is the burning (pun not intended) question on everyone's minds. Could two brunettes possibly produce another baby with red hair? It's hard to believe we could, but I guess if red hair was possible in the first place we've already beaten the odds.

On to the reason we're all here. Gender. We are not ashamed to say it. We need to know this baby's gender. We are not patient. We love the halfway point surprise. We like to plan. (Josh says the last one is just me?!?)

We are so happy to announce that it's a boy! Such exciting news for our growing family! I am now way outnumbered and apparently the Queen of the Bills Family. We are so excited for Dax to have a best friend and playmate so close in age. Now to find a name for this little guy!

Pray with us that Baby Boy #2 continues to grow strong and healthy!

Dyeing Eggs & Resurrection Eggs

While I was working, this week my mom and sister-in-law dyed eggs with the littles. I'm so thankful they made time to do this and that Dax's first egg dyeing experience was with his cousins! He was pretty serious about the whole thing as you can see in the pictures below. All the kids had a blast and their eggs came out so cute!

My mom also gave both our families a set of Resurrection Eggs. Such a great way to teach the story of the Resurrection to children. You can see the eggs below, each color egg has something inside with a special significance.

My nephew Graham probably grasps this the most of the four littles, but it's never too early to start teaching them about the greatest gift and sacrifice!

Here are some of the finished eggs. Such sweet babes and pretty eggs!

He is risen!

Bumpdate: 17 Weeks

Being pregnant the second time around is quite different! I started wearing maternity clothes much sooner and boy how the body knows where to go! I'm loving pregnancy just as much though and have not been sick at all. Praise the Lord!

We scheduled our ultrasound for next Friday! This is most exciting news! We will likely find out baby's gender, and I can start planning -as though I haven't already.
