Dayton: 7 Months

Dayton, you are charming the pants off of everyone you meet! Mommy and Daddy can't handle your cuteness! Thank you for being our sweet, sweet boy! You're getting so big -you look less and less like our little newborn baby. Tear.

Here's a look at what you've been up to this past month:
-You tried so many new foods: banana (both mashed and whole -by far your favorite food, black beans, pears, eggs, pumpkin, acorn squash, sweet potato)
-You went on your first hike in the Finger Lakes
-Went to the pumpkin patch with Mommy and Daddy
-We are still working on your baby sign language skills
-You love for Mommy and Daddy to play peek-a-boo and tickle time -that little belly laugh is infectious
-You're a pro sitter and you play with your little keyboard long enough for mommy to get the dishwasher unloaded
-Toby has piqued your interest -you want to know where he is if you hear him even when eating or nursing
-Kicking your legs on your mattress, the floor, your changing table and against the high chair is your favorite way to make lots of noise

DC Trip

We went to DC for Josh's college friend's wedding. Dave and Kate are a gorgeous couple both inside and out. It was such a lovely wedding and weekend! DC is one of our favorite cities. We stayed in Capitol Hill and explored a new little neighborhood to us. I loved meeting several of Josh's friends from Hillsdale and their wives. So much fun!

Florida Vacation

We spent 5 days in Orlando with Josh's family to celebrate his dad and step-mom's 10th anniversary. It was a very packed 5 days, and we had a so much fun. We posted a lot of pictures along the way, but here are a few more from our trip.

Oklahoma 4th of July

Dayton took his first big trip! He rode on an airplane and changed time zones. He did it with such ease we (and everyone around us) couldn't even believe it! A happy little traveler to say the least.

We had such a wonderful time in Oklahoma with my family! We met our sweet new nephew, Connor, and Dayton got to meet his older cousins, Graham and Claire. Of course, seeing Nana and Pa is always a highlight! We just couldn't have been happier to spend our summer holiday anywhere else.
